Terms & Policies

*Have Movement believes best client outcomes are achieved through effective collaboration.

*For this reason we ask for your health care providers and GP’s contact information and your permission to communicate with them regarding your health and wellness.

*Payment is required on the day of your first appointment, you can pay online when booking or a link will be sent after the session for you to pay.

*You will be issued with an invoice after you have attended your appointment. This can be used to claim health insurance, or other rebates.

*The codes for claiming we generally use are: Assessment (500)/ Movement Treatment / Individual Pilates - private (506) Small Group Sessions (usually 500 as over the course of the 50 minute session while you are completing your program you will receive approx 20 minutes of individual physiotherapy attention, alongside the general observation throughout the session)

*Have Movement has a 24 hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations or non-attendance will be charged at the full rate.

*24 hours notice allows other clients time to make plans to attend if a spot becomes available.

*The cancellation fee covers the cost of the reduced class numbers due to minimum time to fill the spot.

*Of course, life happens to all of us, if there are mitigating circumstances please discuss with your Physio.

*As part of your assessment it can be useful for reference and future comparison to take photos of your posture, or video a specific movement .

*We store photos and videos electronically, ensuring appropriate data security.

Your physio can accept no liability for personal injury related to participation in a session if:

*Your doctor has, on health grounds, advised you against such exercise.

*You fail to observe instructions on safety or technique.

*Such injury is caused by the negligence of another participant in the class.

*As part of the Have Movement Assessment and Program your Physio will take a detailed history and complete a head to toe physical assessment.

*It is often important for your Physio to see your spine, as such you may be asked to undress, it may be possible to roll up your top if this is preferred.

*Your Physio will discuss the findings with you and answer any questions you may have.
